It's a compact effect pedal, straight forward and easy to use. We do not see it as a pure overdrive, as it can roar and scream as a distortion too once the gain knob crosses the 12 O'Clock mark. But a great thing about the ODB-3 is, that even at maximum gain, it retains its clarity and focus, thus, cuts right through the mix!
