What differs the CE-5 Chorus Ensemble from the rest is that it lasts, and for a reason! The BOSS CE-5 is considered as one of the most versatile chorus pedals the Japanese company ever made thanks to the high and low filters and the wide frequency range it provides. The shimmer of this pedal is sweet and it does not fall in the "flat" trap many chorus pedals do. There is a mild confusion as to wether the CE-5 is digital or analog and both are correct: The BOSS CE-5 started it's life as an analog pedal, but after 2001 the circuit was changed to digital. The one you hear on TonePedia as a brand new one, hence, digital.
