Solid Mahogany top combined with Mahogany body produces warm mid-rangy sound which compliments the body size of the guitar, which is surprisingly loud. Another reason to check the FG 14 M is the 1.87" / 48mm nut width. Being larger than the usual nut on an acoustic guitar, it fits better for players with larger hands. It is an all Mahogany guitar with much charm and character. It sounds like it looks, deep and warm with focus on the low and mid frequencies, great for pick strumming and drop D. The FD 14 M NS CE here is stage ready with the Fishman Sonicore pickup combined with the Isys + Preamp, it has a cutaway too. If you do not need electronics and cutaway and would like to keep it simple, check the FD 14 M by Framus as it is the same model without these features.

An all solid strumming machine. Sitting at the top of it's group, the 28 models are all solid guitars built with great attention to details. The FD28 Dreadnought with cut & eq version is designed for the pro, working musician. The combination of solid East-Indian Rosewood body, solid Spruce top and Ebony fingerboard results in a fast, accurate and clear guitar which is fantastic with pick or fingers. Stage ready beauty by Framus. The FD 14 S by Framus is simply put, a beautiful guitar. The black finish we received for demos really looks great, but we have no doubt that both other finish options, Natural Transparent High Polish and Natural Transparent Satin finish, look great too. Solid Sitka Spruce top gives the guitar a nice attack which brings the sound out and makes it a great all arounder. Of course that in order to be an all arounder a pickup is needed and there Framus chose the Fishman Sonicore pickup combined with the Isys + preamp. The guitar is also equipped with ebony bridge pins which enhance the sound. No Cutaway and/or pickup models in the various finishes are also available.

The FJ 14 SMV VNT CE2 is a light sounding guitar thanks to its all Maple body, perfect for that 12 string strumming sound. Both finish options: the Vintage Transparent High Polish Natural Tinted which is displayed in the photo and the Natural Transparent Satin, compliments the guitar a lot. The on board Fishman Isys + preamp and Sonicore piezo combination is a great addition which makes the Framus FJ 14 SMV 12-String Jumbo, with Cutaway & EQ a great 12 string which got the looks and sound for the stage.

When playability meets budget. The Framus Legacy Series FG14 SV VNT CE delivers great playability and much more for a sweet price. It is a comfortable guitar to strum, pick and what not! Thanks to the 48mm / 1.87" nut width your fingers will have plenty of room when playing complex chords so dead notes can be avoided. The satin finished neck is smooth to play on and the cutaway allows easy access to the higher frets. The FG 14 SV VNT CE is stage ready thanks to the Fishman Isys + preamp and Sonicore piezo combination. The system is easy to use but essentially it has all you need to get the tone right. The Framus FG 14 SV VNT CE comes in either Vintage Transparent High Polish Natural Tinted or Vintage Transparent Satin Natural Tinted finish. Models with no cutaway and EQ are available as well.

It's a pretty versatile guitar, but don't expect it to be extremely quick in response, it is an all Mahogany guitar after all. Supreme guitar by Framus. When you think of it, Framus guitars have been an integral part of our most beloved music in the past 70 years or so. Lets go fingerpicking. The Framus FF 14M NS is an inexpensive sweet guitar for the fingerpicking beginner, blues finger style player and anyone who wants to have an inexpensive mahogany guitar for home or the road. The FF 14 M NS has the body measurement of a OOO acoustic guitar, it is a comfortable body size with body to neck joint at the 14th fret and a standard size nut width of 45mm / 1.77". As always with Framus guitars, also the FF 14 M has a variation with cutaway and pickup and also comes in different finishes.

High end concert shaped beauty by Framus. The Legacy series 44 models are some of the highest models available from the Framus factory, and the beautiful FC 44 SMV Concert (with EQ) model we received for demos is definitely an eye and ear candy. The solid AA Maple back and AAA flamed Maple sides are great looking and complimented by the vintage dark sunburst finish, so does the solid AA Sitka Spruce top. And the florentine cutaway....oh we like the florentine cutaway. Sound wise, the FR FC 44 SMV VDS CE is an open and clear instrument with solid lows and round highs. The Fishman Prefix Plus T pickup is a great addition to the guitar, as it allows you to shape your amplified tone to your liking with dedicated bass, treble notch and mid + mid frequency controls. Of course that you can get it also without a pickup and if you fancy a different finish you're in luck, as the FC 44 SMV Concert is also available in Natural Transparent High Polish and Natural Transparent Satin finish.

Comfortable in hand and on the eyes. What a nice guitar, and for approx. 450$, well done Framus! The FF 14 S Folk is a sweet little Auditorium style guitar, equipped with a Fishman Sonicore pickup & Isys + preamp. The Black finish looks really great and the guitar generally is comfortable to play. It fits perfectly in band situation as it cuts right through the mix. The FF 14 S Folk also comes in Natural Transparent High Polish and Natural Transparent Satin finish, you can also get it without a pickup and a cutaway if you wish to.

Wonderful wood combination. With it's Solid A Spruce top and AAA flamed Maple body, the FR FJ 14 SMV VSNT CE stands out, as it is simply great looking. Lower emphasis on bass frequencies and more apparent high mids make the Legacy series FJ 14 SMV CE a great choice for guitarists that play with a band, it cuts great through the mix and really stands out with clarity. We personally also liked it a lot when playing with fingers. The Isys + preamp and Sonicore pickup by Fishman are more than enough for it and great to have, although for the purists a non-amplified version of the FJ 14 SMV CE is available.
