The BLUE Series takes after the characteristics of Furch's old 20 series with some refinements and additions. Priced at around 1000€ the BLUE OM-CM is on our list for superb guitars, that is, if you like natural wood sounding guitars. We do!
The Blue OM-CM has an African Mahogany body, American Red Cedar top, beautiful thin open-pore finish and no unnecessary ornaments. It is a simplistic guitar, very natural in both looks and sound. The sustain is there but not very long, the sound is less punchy than a high gloss coated guitar, and overall the guitar has less broad frequency range. All there are not negative things to the single player / singer songwriter. It is a warm guitar with a soothing and sweet sound. We like it a lot.
