The classic rodent based distortion is a circuit many companies have their own versions of and this is TC's.
Overall it has the right looks, controls and extra features but it also has a great unique enclosure too.
The latest TC mini enclosures are as close to perfect as it gets, small stable and pedalboard-friendly with all jacks top mounted.
LM308 Pro
Pedal fans prefer certain parts and often they don't know why, so TC has looked into what makes the LM308 chip so good.
Taking what they learnt, TC applied the behaviour by means of easy to find parts instead of the rare LM308, genius!
Magus Filter
The treble filter is actually a high pass filter allowing you to tame the high end effectively.
Pro Toggle
The three-way toggle switch on the Magus switches between, Classic, Fat and Turbo.
Classic is what you expect whereas Fat addles some bottom end and moves the mids slightly.
Turbo is where things get interesting as the LED clipping engages providing more headroom and a totally different feel.
