Until Helena came, B&G Guitars were associated with high end semi-hollow body guitars. Both Step Sister, Little Sister and of course the Goldfinger, are semi-hollow, centre seam guitars. The Helena is a project of two years, we know because we were there when it started. They took everything the know, and put it into this killer, solid body, bolt on model which sounds like what rock 'n roll dreams made out of. The Humbuckers version presented here, is to us the 'standard' version. But if your soul wishes for something else be sure to check the P90 and Lipstick Single Coil options on TonePedia. The two Hand-Wound B&G Humbuckers sing and work so well with the one piece mahogany body on this one! Weight wise 3,2Kg is impressive, making it a very resonant yet light guitar.
