The Helena is the first solid body guitar by B&G Guitars. The company which is associated with high end semi-hollow body guitars finally did the anticipated step and released a bolt on, solid body high end rock machine. You can get the B&G Guitars Helena in three pickup varioations: P90, Humbuckers and Single Coil Lipstick. We have to admit, at first we were kind of on the fence with the lipstick version. Once we heard it there was no doubt, we love it! Such a refreshing instrument which combines aspects of a Strat, Tele, SG and B&G flavour. The outcome is simply unique. The three Hand-Wound B&G Single coils react great to dynamics and sound healthy and full. It's a light guitar, weighs at 3.1Kg. Cool instrument. Be sure to compare it to the P90 and Humbucker version to find your Helena.
