Looking at B&G Guitars, both Step Sister, Little Sister and of course the Goldfinger are semi-hollow, centre seam guitars. Then came Helena - a solid body, bolt on model, ready to rock! Personally speaking, we are suckers for P90 pickups and often think that a good P90 guitar is the best overall guitar of choice. The B&G Guitars Helena P90 is such guitar! It is light weight (3.1Kg), Sports quality one piece mahogany body, 2 hot hand-wound B&G P90 pickups and tons of mojo! From soft to hard rock it has it all and in spades, healthy sustain yet dry, balanced, clear. Yummy what a guitar. Of course, P90s are not for everyone and if you want endless sustain and thicker tone you might prefer the Humbucker version or if single coil is what makes you feel good then the lipstick Helena. Good news are that we have demoed them all so be sure to check them out and find the one you like.
