EBS

EBS Sweden AB was founded by Bo Engberg (CEO) and Mats Kristoffersson (Technical Director) in 1988 in Stockholm, with one goal in mind – to build high-end bass equipment. The first product they launched was the EBS-1 rack-mounted bass preamp.

After selling three of their EBS-1 units to three excellent bass players (Flea: Red Hot Chilli Peppers / Jimmy Earl: Chick Corea Band / Billy Talbot: Neil Young & Crazy Horse) EBS received the recognition that it deserved. In 1993 their first pedal effect, the EBS Octa Bass was born and in the same year EBS started to produce their first Bass combo Amplifier – The Taurus 240.

Today EBS produces tube and transistor bass amps, bass cabinets, combo amps, pedal effects and accessories. Besides producing a wide range of high quality and successful products, EBS Sweden AB provides a distinct endorsement policy. Artists like Billy Sheehan, Tal Wilkenfeld, Marcus Miller, Tony Levin and many more are signed by EBS.

Whenever you check a bass player’s pedal board and gear, you’re most likely to find at least one EBS product.

After creating such a name for themselves in the bass world, EBS decided it's time to use their vast knowledge and experience for the sake of guitar players too. The truth is, that guitar players used EBS's bass pedals in their rig cause they're simply great. Gladly, now they can enjoy "all electric guitar" pedals with EBS's 'Red Label Pedals' series which contains three well thought-through guitar pedal effects including reverb, flange/chorus and compressor.

EBS Red Twister

The EBS Red Twister Guitar Edition is the perfect combination of user friendliness and sonic awesomeness! Analog Processing. The pedal is built with the best analog processing circuitry available. This gives a smooth, warm and fat sounding chorus/flange effect, useful both for live and studio performances. The Red Twister is built on the legacy of the EBS UniChorus Studio Edition bass effect, but with adjustments of delay times and frequency range to match the guitar perfectly. The output is either mono or stereo.The Red Twister is an analog studio quality Chorus, Flange and Pitch Modulation effects unit. Effect mix level. Under the hood of the Red Twister, there's a mix level control that let you decide how much or little of the effect you'd like to be blended with the original tone. EBS MultiComp

High performance, analog compressor with either solid state, tube simulation or multi-band compression. The MultiComp Guitar Edition can make a good sounding guitar sound even better. Once youâve tried it, youâll never want to play without it! The EBS MultiComp Guitar Edition is optimized for use with guitar, and strikes the perfect balance of being super user friendly and offering super sonic qualities.Less is more. The MultiComp may be the easiest compressor around to dial in. Since it is so smooth and well though through, all you need is to set the level of Comp/Limit with one knob, Gain with another, and then choose the type or mode of compression between Tubeism, Multi Band (MB) and Normal. Done! For those that need more, there is an Active/Passive switch on the side as well as an internal trim pot for the Threshold located under the hood.Red Label Pedals. EBS DynaVerb

8 different studio reverbs packed into a dead simple pedal. The EBS DynaVerb Guitar Edition offers eight different true stereo digital reverb effects, from rooms, to plates, to halls. All in a compact pedal format.Outstanding performance - the EBS DynaVerb Guitar Edition use a 24-bit digital processing circuitry for noiseless performance on stage and in the recording studio. It has stereo input as well as stereo out.As a foundation the DynaVerb features three different modes or types of reverb - Room, Plate and Hall. Room and Plate can run in three variations, A, B and C (explained in detail in the manual), while the Hall reverb offers two variations A, B (C same as B). It makes a total of 8 different reverbs. The controls simply set the volume for the tone (Tone), and how much of the reverb you'd like to blend in (Reverb).Serial, or parallel. Inside the box, you can change the pedal to run in parallel mode, if preferred in the studio.Red Label Pedals.
