The family-run C. F. Martin & Co. have been building high-quality acoustic instruments since 1883 through six generations. Founded by German immigrant cabinet maker Christian Frederick Martin in New York City, the company relocated headquarters shortly after to Nazareth, Pennsylvania in 1839, where they are still based today. The Nazareth premises is also home to the Martin Guitar Museum, housing over 170 classic guitars and memorabilia.

Through almost two centuries of technological and cultural development, Martin have been responsible for many of the innovations that are now standard for modern flat top, steel-string acoustic guitars. Martin offers instruments ranging from their low-cost DX range, built from laminated wood in their Navojoa Mexico factory, up to their hand-crafted Custom Shop models. Martin DC-35E

A Classic. Martin takes it's classic D-35 guitar and turns it to a stage beast to the professional working guitar player. Meet the DC-35E.Much like on the D-35, you'll find solid sitka spruce and east Indian mahogany on the Martin DC-35E, only the latter has a cutaway and an innovative pickup system by Fishman called "Aura VT Enhance".You'll find all that you expect in this great guitar. It is punchy and full sounding with a beautiful top end and overtones.From top to bottom, this instrument is beautifully made, but what got us really startled is the new Fishman Aura pickup it comes with.As a pickup, it is a good sounding, easy to use 1 tone knob pickup. But what's making it a serious add to an already great guitar is the new Enhance option.When activating the Enhance option, an additional transducer is coming into play and capturing energy of the guitar top while resisting the transverse energy that manifests in string squeak, body handling noise, and parasitic feedback. In simple words - every percussive beat and overtone you will play will shine like a star.

Martin LX1E Little Martin

Martin tone in a small package. Did you know that the LX1E is Martin's smallest guitar? Probably you did. What you might have not known though is that it sports a solid Sitka Spruce top and HPL body which is an ideal mix for good sound with durability on the travel. The LX1E sounds great and loud when played unplugged. It is equipped with a Fishman Sonitone piezo pickup which immediately turns this compact guitar to a stage animal. When considering this little guitar's quality you'd be happy to know that the Martin LX Ed Sheeran signature model is fairly similar to the LX1E. Martin 000-15M

Warm and rich mahogany tone with a perfect mix of tradition and innovation. The Martin 000-15M is a 14 fret auditorium size guitar with fantastic tone and playability.Solid genuine book-matched mahogany top, back and sides with Martin's X-bracing technique, solid mahogany neck with east indian rosewood fretboard, bone nut and saddle and Martin's years of experience make the 000-15M sing with a warm and round soothing voice. It's not an "in your face" sounding guitar, but an "in your soul" one.

Martin DCPA5K

The DCPA5K is one of Martin's most affordable Preforming Artist Series. It features a beautiful koa patterned high pressure laminate (HPL) back and sides in combination with solid sitka spruce.What is HPL you ask?One day, while walking through the factory, Chris Martin saw the bits and pieces of leftovers from cutting wood and realised it can be utilised to something good.This evolved to the HPL which is used on the this guitar.HPL is light, cost effective and most important, sounds different and nice. Combined with a solid Spruce top, X-1 bracing and the vast experience and quality of Martin's craftsmanship, the DCPA5K is a very lively, natural sounding guitar with a lot of power and loudness.A key feature making the Martin DCPA5K a great performing guitar is the Fishman F-1 pickup system it comes with. It is such a simple pickup to use and the result is great with no hassle.Also the tuner comes handy and reacts fast when in use.

Martin D-16RGT

Classic Looks, Classic Tone, Modern Playability! What a nice studio guitar and generally speaking the Martin D-16RGT Acoustic guitar is! The all solid East Indian Rosewood body and Sitka Spruce top compliment each other and bring out the spark and attack one would expect. The Martin D-16RGT is a part of Martin's 16 Series which was originally developed to deliver high quality sound for a lower price range. The heart of the series is Martin's Hybrid X bracing system which delivers a powerful tone, it became quite a favourite since first introduced to the market. If you search for a guitar with slightly more body and woody tone we suggest checking out the Martin D-16GT. It is essentially the same model only with Mahogany back and sides.

Martin M-36

Martin ... who? The idea of "The jack of all things" is often followed by "master of none" yet that wasn't how the saying was originally intended and today the original meaning is appropriate with regards to the M-36.Many people regard this as an OM acoustic, but get close and you'll see that its pretty big, a small Jumbo yet the body is fairly shallow. This allows the bass response expected from a dreadnaught yet the tones reflect quickly from the guitars chamber happen improving attack with less "woofyness".Finger styles marry up with strumming in a package still retaining the unmistakable Martin flavour.

Martin 000-18

The Mighty Martin 000-18 The 000-18 Standard Series is a timeless acoustic. Martin uses selected woods that are conscientiously matched so the tone can unfold easilyat the slightest touch. Its simple appearance features subtle decoration that matching the toned woods which has hardly changed since its first edition, giving the guitar the impression that you are holding a real piece of history in your hands.The North American Sitka Spruce top, which has been used for decades for the construction of the finest musical instruments plus the Scalloped-X-Bracing and a wafer-thin finish, produces high quality resonance and a fast responding tone.In order to give the sound a warm saturation, the Martin 000-18 Standard Series is constructed with a body of high-quality mahogany wood that creates golden reflections depending on the angle of view and lighting conditions.

Martin D-18

The Mahogany sister. Less expensive than the iconic D-28 but definitely not cheaper or less wonderful.The D-18 has the benefit of being a warm and deep sounding mahogany guitar with the fast reaction of a spruce top one. It is not an eye catcher in comparison to some other Martin guitars, but as always with guitars, looks can be deceiving.It features a sleek, modern High Performance Neck which makes it comfortable to play and as it is a mahogany guitar, it is lighter than her rosewood sisters.

Martin D-16GT

Acoustic Power. The 16 Series was originally developed to deliver high quality sound for a lower price range. The heart of the series is Martin's Hybrid X bracing system which delivers a powerful tone, it became quite a favourite since first introduced to the market. The Martin D-16GT uses simple, yet solid woods and is a pretty straight forward guitar. It has nice overtones, quite a lively guitar with a warm, woody like sound. If you search for a more open guitar which is a little less deep sounding we recommend checking out the Martin D-16RGT. It is essentially the same model only with Rosewood back and sides.

Martin HD-28

Often regarded as the best sounding Martin guitar.When it comes to acoustic guitars, Martin is highly regarded and for a reason. Martin brought to us musicians the acoustic guitar as we know it, and the HD-28 is a heck of an acoustic guitar. Most people take the HD-28 for a "nicer looking D-28" and that is wrong. Yes, both guitars do share a lot of the specifications, woods and measurements, but an important difference between the both can be found in the bracing. Both use Forward-Shifted X-Brace technique, the HD-28 has scalloped braces while the D-28 does not. This gives the HD-28 a fuller and louder bottom end, and helps its clarity too. Many players consider the HD-28 to be the best sounding, yet affordable Martin guitar. While we cannot comment on wether that is right or wrong, we do think it is a great sounding acoustic guitar. Add it to the player, take it for a spin and see how you like it.

Martin DX1AE

Thinking forward. The X series by Martin is a more affordable series of guitars from a well renowned maker.What does that mean? It means you get something good for your money.One day, while walking through the factory, Chris Martin saw the bits and pieces of leftovers from cutting wood and realised it can be utilised to something good.This evolved to the HPL which is used on the X series.HPL is light, cost effective and most important, sounds different and nice. Combined with a solid Spruce top, X-1 bracing and the vast experience and quality of Martin's craftsmanship, the DX1AE is a very natural sounding guitar. Not as big as a solid wood Martin, but this "Martin sound" is still there.The DX1AE is dry, it does not have much of sustain compared to other more expensive Martin guitars. The guitar projects a lot of mid range and tight lows, it does not ring a lot, but it is exactly what we like about it! It does not sound fancy, it sounds natural.

Martin DX1KAE

The Martin DX1KAE is the Koa bodied sister of the DX1AE model. The X series by Martin is a more affordable series of guitars from a well renowned maker.What does that mean?
